New Bedford, Massachusetts. Cousins Jimmy Correa, 24, and Jenny Torres, 31, were arraigned Wednesday on felony animal abuse charges after they reportedly tossed a dog out the window of a speeding car. Now they want the dog back.
According to New Bedford Police, a witnesses watched Monday as a 1-year-old Chihuahua named Princess flew out the window of a speeding SUV.Witnesses told authorities they first thought the dog might have fallen out of the car by accident. That impression changed, however, when the couple reportedly circled back towards the dog and yelled insults at it. Witnesses took down the plate info and called the cops.
This is why I love New Bedford. Just last weekend I witnessed my neighbor tossing stuff out her 2nd floor window at her boyfriend. I tried to catch it on my phone camera but was unsuccessful.
